CUBE: Confictionery Branding
Cube, a newly established confectionery brand specializing in CBD-infused sweets - a modern, luxurious, and health conscious brand.
TARGET AUDIENCE
Cube's audience comprises health-conscious individuals aged 25-45, seeking a LUXURIOUS and CALMING treat. They value wellness, premium quality, and innovation, making it essential to cater to their unique preferences.
BRAND PERSONALITY
Cube's brand personality is characterized by elements of calmness, joy, luxury, organic qualities, playfulness, modernity, and innovation. This personality informed our design direction.
I started the design process with Research and Moodboards.
Then, I sketched various ideas to explore different possibilities.
MOODBOARDS
These sketches were refined in Illustrator, and I experimented with different typefaces and customizations to design the perfect wordmark for Cube.
CHALLENGES:
• BALANCING sophistication with the playful nature of confectionery, emphasizing health and wellness without compromising on fun.
• Introducing CBD-infused confectionery to an audience largely UNFAMILIAR with its benefits.
•In a rapidly growing CBD confectionery market, Cube needed a brand identity that would grab attention and DISTINGUISH itself from competitors.
SOLUTION:
Our strategy centered on creating a calming and luxurious visual identity.
•We used pastel colors to evoke calmness and joy, black to add class and luxury, and clean, modern fonts that aligned with Cube's values and Personality
•Then, we designed a playful, Mixed-typeface logo Balancing the Modern and Playful vibe.
•And we made sure the Packaging and Ads made Cube look like PURE QUALITY.
•To address the challenges, we Emphasized Luxury, Relaxation, and Innovation in Cube's brand identity, and we focused on educating consumers about CBD's properties and benefits.
We weren't just creating a brand; we were making an experience.
